Rooted in Hard Work

Domenic grew up in a hardworking entrepreneurial family and began helping in his father’s food distribution business when he was seven years old. He learned the business from the ground up, from loading trucks and making deliveries to serving customers.

Those early experiences taught him that trust is earned through honesty, consistency and following through on your commitments. They also gave him a firsthand understanding of the responsibilities, pressures and sacrifices that come with owning a business.

Domenic carried those lessons into financial services, where integrity, accountability and personal relationships continue to guide how he works with every client.

With an academic background in economics and finance, Domenic brought together his interests in finance, entrepreneurship and client service when he founded AMCO Financial Group in 2016.

His goal was to build a firm where clients could turn for coordinated guidance across different areas of their financial lives. Rather than treating insurance, mortgages, investments and business planning as separate transactions, Domenic considers how each decision supports the client’s broader goals.

He has developed relationships with leading financial institutions, insurers and lenders across Canada. AMCO Financial Group also works with carefully selected legal and accounting professionals when clients require additional expertise.

Outside of work, Domenic enjoys hockey, golf, tennis, cycling, hiking and travelling. He is also a food enthusiast who enjoys exploring local restaurants and authentic cuisine wherever his travels take him.

Domenic has contributed to the community as a committee member with St. Joseph’s Hospital and Humber River Hospital. He believes a successful business should do more than serve its clients; it should also make a meaningful contribution to the communities it calls home.
